The IntelliCare Plus Program

Northwestern Medicine’s Psychiatry department is partnering with Adaptive Health to pilot the IntelliCare Plus program.

  • IntelliCare Plus is an 8-week program that teaches you skills to improve your mood and reduce stress, supported by a digital mental health app and a coach.

    The IntelliCare Plus App

The IntelliCare Plus App includes Daily Tasks. Clinically proven daily activities that help you deal with real life trigger situations to lessen your anxiety or depression.

Our tasks were designed by researchers and clinicians, to put the psychological strategies that top therapists teach their clients into the palm of your hand. Tasks can take as little as five minutes, but by working through each of them, you give yourself the best chance to see improvement.

IntelliCare Plus turns your mobile phone into your mental health toolbox. With Intellicare Plus you have access to a Tool Box full of the evidence-informed instruments designed to help you cope with every-day trigger situations to lessen your depression or anxiety. Your Tool Box is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Inside you will find:

    Coaching

A coach will help guide you through the program and help you stay on track. A coach is available for a phone call to start you off. On that call, coach will get to know you, explain the program, and answer any questions you might have. After that the coach will check in with you a couple of times a week to see how you are doing with the program. In addition, coaches are available to answer your questions. We have seen that this kind of coaching support helps people stick with the app activities and will help you feel better sooner.
